LA Hall

 

I'm LA Hall, otherwise known as Luke Hall. I am a 16 year old DJ & Producer from Souderton, Pennsylvania. It's funny how I originally got into the dance scene (coming originally from Hard Rock). As a childhood drummer, I always wondered how the popular dance tracks got all these drums playing at once (never thought of software, haha). As a teenager I was obviously exposed to Dance music at parties and through the radio, Q102.1 being the major station. Looking through YouTube one day, I came across the song "Let Me Hit It", remixed by Audiostalkers. That was the song that got me in love with the Dirty Electro Music I play today. 

My first (and current) DAW (software program) was FL Studio 10. I had the software for a while and thought it was very complicated. After using the Internet to my advantage, I learned quickly and started making dance tracks. Most sounded horrible, and I laugh when I play them. Once I felt confident and learned the mechanics of Dance music, I created some songs that I really felt proud of. Some of them "A.M.", and "Avalon" are on my SoundCloud. I also gained publicity from a good friend by the name of Avroshox. He remixed my song "Easy Chair", and is one of the main reasons I kept making music. 

I hope to progress, and get onto a label and make my way up in the music business! Otherwise I'll probably just end up doing some sort of technical job, which would suck!
